🇬🇧💻 USEFUL PHRASES WHEN USING ZOOM 💻🇬🇧
Hi guys! This post was suggested by my good friend Katerina Didenko and I thought what a damn good idea.
You'd find most of the commands used throughout Zoom are actually very basic in nature like, 'Turn your mic on,' or 'You seem to have connection issues.' I thought I'd give some of these simple phrases a twist; a bit less textbook-ey. I'm sure Mrs Didenko won't mind me using her name throughout this post😁
✅ Katya, it seems your internet is playing up. Log out and log in again.
✅ Your screen is frozen. Katya, switch it off to save bandwidth.
✅ Katya, your screen is blank. Camera off today or what?
✅ Katya your camera is flickering; it's going mental. Switch it off.
✅ Katya, can't hear a word. You're muted. I'm bad at lip reading.
✅ Your camera and mic are out of sync. Try restarting your computer or reenter Zoom.
✅ It's hard to hear you. There's lots of crackling and interference coming from your mic
✅ Katya, hold the mic a bit closer to your mouth, please.
✅ I didn't catch that. You broke up a bit then. Say that again.
✅ Katya, there's a load of background noise where you are. I can barely hear you.
✅ Could you tell your husband to put his trousers on. Thanks. I can't un-see that.
✅ Give me a second while I share my screen. Right, can you all see that?
✅ Let me quickly close some of my tabs before I share my screen. Don't want to scare any of you!
