Hi guys! For those of you who live in Kazan or are coming to the December conference, or planning to visit in general, you're in luck! The other day I came across a restaurant called Shashlikov on the famous Baumana Street and, blin, sorry, PANCAKE, was I in for a pleasant surprise!!! Amazing Shashlik for 1500 Rubles. But guess what? ONE WHOLE METER of shashlik, yes, for 1500 Rubles. Needless to say, I ordered it and had the rest packed in a doggy bag to take home to finish off. And needless to say, I've had to restart my diet.
So I thought why not share some common expressions with you that we say when you put food in your mouth and it's so delicious/divine/delectable 😍
✅ OMG, THIS IS TO DIE FOR!!! Try some of this Charlottka pie!
✅ I'VE DIED AND GONE TO HEAVEN! Ohhhhh this Memosa salad! (My favourite Russian salad by the way... hint hint...)
✅ IT'S LITERALLY MELTING IN MY MOUTH. Ohhh this meat is to tender. It falls off the bone! (when food is soft/tender)
✅ OMG! PLEASE DON'T INTERRUPT ME RIGHT NOW! (continue chewing) Wow, so delicious!
✅ Oh wow, yes, ohhhh! So many different wonderful flavours. IT'S LIKE A PARTY IN MY MOUTH. Mmmmmmm. Ohhhh holodets!
✅ Ohhh babe, trust me. YOU'RE GONNA WANT SOME OF THIS! Ohhh this sweet pickled cabbage! (Also one of my favourites). Ohhhhh!
✅👶 Oh, someone's enjoying that! Look, it's not even touching the sides of the mouth. Yes darling: YUMMY YUMMY IN MY TUMMY! (with kids... of course)
